Too late? We are living so much longer in our days so , unless you have been given a life sentence I say reach for the stars. I know at times it may feel like you haven't accomplished much but I am sure that if you looked hard enough you can find plenty of great accomplishments in your life. Society tells us that we are suppose to do things in a set pattern and time frame but life itself says another. Follow your heart and what life itself says not society. Be proud of yourself and the life you lead, the mere fact that you have goals and are reaching for them makes you accomplished. My friend recently told me about her fathers friend who is in his 80's and still working; can you say time. You have plenty of time to realize your dreams and live to enjoy them. Keep moving forward and you'll be surprised at what you will accomplish, it's only when we give up that we don't live our full potential. Oh, and if it's any help focus on your goals not the time.

If you are determine enough to acheive in life it would pay off. It is important that you rightfully manage your time, keep a positive attitude and maintain self discipline. There are many students who are much older and younger that is still running the race. Please keep on doing the positive things in life and forget about the past and avoid using the word "try" because nothing in life is impossible. Postive self talk and prayer works for me.

Just to add -the greatest accomplishment you probably ever made in life was education and career planning. Please give yourself some credit and stay in school because education is priceless.

I'm 34 and I just went back to school 2 years ago. I'm planning on getting my Doctorate and teaching college. Its going to take at least 9 more years for me to reach my goal.

Its never to late to start to reach your goal. Some people change careers every few decades. If you really have a goal you should try your best to rach it.
