As an International Student (Swiss), is it better to apply to a US community college with no credits, or the credits I already have?
I'm applying to schools in the US and am afraid that they will not accept me because I do have prior credits but no degree. Is it better not to send transcripts from my previous education and start from scratch, or send them the grades from my coursework? I have excellent grades from my first few years, but did not know what I wanted to study or what my goals were, so I did not finish. Thank you!

Congratulations for planning to resume your college education. When applying for admission to a community college in the US don't feel that you need to hide your past educational performance. It will be helpful for the college to know what courses you have already taken and they may possibly give you credit for those credits earned toward the degree being sought. Prior college experience should be disclosed and without penalty but with possible rewards. Answered by Dr TAge : 56 1 month ago Report Abuse Edit Delete Add comments |
