As i speak i in no way mean offense and merely take a scientific standpoint. Biologicly speaking anything that stives away from the original is a mutation (good or bad) so to speak, we are desighnd to be heterosexual otherwise our race would become extinct ( thus i do not believe entirely it is genetic) and so even if it true that you are geneticly homosexual then (again in no offnse) a part of your dna is a mutation. To be in point we cannot procreate with the same sex, so take that we have a couple as such, when they die they do not leave behind thier genetic code , and so to speak thier exitstence is wiped. As to if you can become homosexual it is possible, we forget the relationship between body and mind at times. It is similar to if you tell yourself something constantly, eventually you shal come to believe it. for example if you as a person "does tylenol or advil work better for you" the answeres will be different, even though they are both ibiprofen. like eveything else you can choose, or you can simply fall into the category.

My opinion is based upon my friendship with a number of men and women who are gay. It is not a choice that one makes to be gay or straight. I believe that biologically and physically we are predestined to have a preference for either someone of our own sex, the opposite and there are some attracted to both. Some of my friends have shared knowing as early as the second grade their attraction to someone of the same sex. In society most people will choose to try to conform to the perceived norms,I believe that gay members of our society are born with the feelings that they possess.
