Can you talk to them to see what their interests are? Can you see what they are interested in? There might be something that motivates them: not working overtime or working overtime, so they can leave early to be with their families or so they can stay later to get extra salary, etc...... You will find wherever you work that people are indeed different. If these people report to you then it is your responsibility to set clear goals and objectives with them that you require they fulfill. There are times when we have expectations for people without having clearly defined them and set up proper timetables for completion. We need to invest time in discussing with them what are there professional goals and how we may help them achieve those goals. Motivation is a different as our personalities. Lead by example and help those around you achieve to their highest potential without blame but encouragement. Answered by ManAge : 49 1 month ago Edit Delete |
