God is always on duty. When you pray believe in him, believe with all your heart,.. feel he is by your side., which he always is. The Lord God is always listening, talk to him just like your best friend where ever you are you could express your thoughts to him. A clean heart and clean hands the lord will not despise.He that regard inquity in his heart the lord will not hear. so when going to talk with God confess all sins and he will hear you. To get God to listen to you, keep the following things in mind: 1. The smallest prayer will still be heard by God. 2. Be sincere and honest in your prayer moments. 3. Ask God to respond to you. Believe that He will do so, and He will!. 4. Read the book of Jonah and learn how Jonah spoke to God while he, Jonah was in a difficult environment. 5. Regardless of your problems, God is awesome and is a mighty fortress. 6. Meditate and believe the following points: Even though, I do not have any money, I am not broke because of Christ Jesus. Even though, I am not feeling well, I am well because of Christ Jesus. Even though, I am struggling, I am successful because of Christ Jesus. Even though, I am alone, I am comforted because of Christ Jesus. 7. Stay away from the Jehovah Witness ‘What the Bible Really Teaches”. It is not divinely inspired. Another requirement for being heard by God is that we act in harmony with our prayers. Jehovah expects us to do all that is within our power to work at what we pray for. For example, if we pray, “Give us today our bread for this day,” we must work hard at whatever available job we are able to perform. (Matthew 6:11; 2 Thessalonians 3:10) If we pray for help in overcoming a fleshly weakness, we must be careful to avoid circumstances and situations that could lead us into temptation. Hi Maranda, I believe it depends on the question you are asking or looking for. We look to god for answers to our questions. We look to god to listen to our prayers and problems. God is always listening. And he answers our questions, but we may not always hear the answer because it may not be what we want, so we don't really listen to the response back. Becareful, God listens and answers but we don't always get the answers we are looking for so we think he is not listening.Exam your situation to make sure he has not provide you wih an answer. may be i m going to give you a different answer because my answer is from coran the holy book of muslim people, god said in coran ( And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way. ) the god listen to us and response but we must listen to him and worship him to pleased with us. Don't worry God is listening to you. Sometimes we may become inpatient when we don't see or get a quick response to our concerns. God expects us to move in the direction of solving or responding to our concerns. God will not provide a quick fix. Begin the process and God will help it along by giving us the strength and conviction to solve or respond to all of our concerns. Just don't wait for a response but set the tone so that God can help the process along. He just heard you because he made me respond. A clean heart and clean hands the lord will not despise.He that regard inquity in his heart the lord will not hear. so when going to talk with God confess all sins and he will hear you. God always answers our pray. there may be three answers. Yes,wait or no.

Hi Maranda,
I believe it depends on the question you are asking or looking for. We look to god for answers to our questions. We look to god to listen to our prayers and problems. God is always listening. And he answers our questions, but we may not always hear the answer because it may not be what we want, so we don't really listen to the response back. God hears you, just have faith.
