How can I rekindle the fire in our marriage when I did nothing wrong? My wife does not seem to be interested in our relationship as much as she was in the beginning. She does not like to call me or me to call her. She feels that I hover to much. Mike How can you rekindle the spark in your marriage depend on each couples view of their matrimony. Actually if their was only 10 steps to follow in other to have a perfect marriage, I will inform you of this. However, marriages has its ups and down... sometimes couples need their space to breeth. Like DosHaches wrote to you "While you may have done nothing wrong, it seems like you haven't done anything right?" Marriage needs to be cultivated with love and trust... but most of all space. In order to rekindle a fire you need wood, kindling material and a spark. What you've described that's missing is the spark. The setting can be windy or the wood might be wet but you still need the spark. I order to rekindle a marriage you will need two willing partners because the spark needs both. You need to determine together what is wrong and what both of you want to commit to creating the spark. You can begin by being less needy and hovering over her and by practicing the simple words of thank you. She appears to need a little space so give it to her and then begin to engage in the conversation of what both of you are willing to do to rekindle your marriage. I have to agree with DosHaches the best was to fix this problem is to sit down with your wife and try and see where she see's the problem and to talk about what both of you guys can do to better the relationship and try to make it work.
