I have had severe acne and has ended up with scarring.PLEASE! Wu can I do, other than seeing a Dermatologist (so expensive.............) :-(
Boy is this tough!!! I used to have flawless skin- quite the envy of my school. Then all of a sudden, from the age of 13, my acne problems have developed and have gone from bad to WORST. :-( I am so depressed, and would do anything. Anyone going through this- any survivors? You can also try IQ Derm their good as well that works for me. I can't wash my face everyday but when I use this it helps stop the break out of the daily washing. In other words I would have to keep my face dirty in order not to have any acne. lol silly isn't it. I have suffered with acne all my life and still do at age 47 and I found this product works good for me of try either one of the products Proactive or IQ Derm. Good luck |

Unfortunately a dermatologist is your best bet because they can prescribe certain medications to help clear up your acne and help with the scars. One thing that you can get over the counter is retinoid. The term describes vitamin A derivatives that unclog pores, boost collagen to reduce fine lines, and speed cell turnover to even out discoloration and smooth the skin—sometimes in as little as four weeks. The first retinoid—tretinoin—was FDA approved (under the brand name Retin-A) almost 40 years ago as a prescription acne treatment. You should really try this. You have to watch what you eat, sleep and control your stress. And investing in a dermatologist is not a bad idea. At least until you have it under control. Also if you are a female, get tips from a makeup store reagrding the makeup you should use. If you have acne is better to use none and make sure you clean your face daily.
