Hello Samy,
YOu could try to pray to God about your problem. Giod loves you. If you ask, He would heal and hug your heart and provide you with strength to help and be there for your family. But you can't be there for your family if you dont take care of yourself. I recommend "The Battlefield of the mind" By Joyce Meyer. It helped me so much when I was depressed too. I hope it helps you like it did for me. God Bless You.

Hi, my name is Laury and I live in New York City. You are taking the first step and by that you are brave to ask for advice... anywhere you might find it. I have several question though...how is it that you have three children at your age? Are your three kids from the same guy? Do you have help from him or from your parents? Do you live on your own? All these questions I ask because I can understand being that you are so young, and is no wander that your going through a rough time. What were you thing in making this mistake three times? And taking pills for this at your age is not the best thing. You were old enough to have sex with guys you did know so you are going to have to deal with it. One day at a time and you will get there. Have faith in your self and the reason I write to you like this is because you need to find the strength tough love.

Yes i asked for advice not for 21 questions, i might be young but dont judge me by me being young and having 3 kids which is none of your concern. Dont write me just to patronize me, i asked for a friend, not for a mother which i have....Thank you

I know too well the damage depression can do to a person. I have experienced depression for about two years. Depression came into my life because I lost my mother. Depression cause me to lose my home and become a tenant. I have defeated depression by turning my life over to Jesus. The end result for me was that I am free from depression and I did not not have to take pills! Please consider allowing Christ to help you. Hehelped me!

Samy:
You are correct when you say your husband and children need you. That is why you need to see a doctor right away. If you had a bad heart, you would consult a physician, and I am certain that you would take the pills he prescribed.
Please do not get caught in the trap of the stigma of psychiatric illness. Depression is no less a disease than heart disease. My wife and dearest love has suffered from it for years. She sought treatment and our lives are better for it. You are suffering from a disease, it is not a moral failing. Go see a doctor . Your husband and children need you-healthy.

i couldn't imagine having to deal with three small kids and having to keep up with housework and all at such a young age. have you talked to your husband and explained that you are feeling stressed. depression is something alot of people struggle with. i have a sister who is married and has a 3yr old daughter. she never gets a break from her. unless she is showering or my niece is taking a nap. she gets depressed alot too and doesn't want to take anyting for it. have you thought about maybe seeing someone for depression, but let them know you don't want to take anything for it. i took some meds for it a few years ago, i didn't like it. so stopped taking it. do you have family that can help you with the kids or cleaning? maybe that would help take away some stress and anxiety.

Its been a year and a half since your question and I do hope you got help. A life coach is something evryone should have. When I did get help years back I accepted taking meds for a while and when I dedn't want the meds any more my shrink (or life couch) taught me skills to sort of check my own feelings and sort of "ground" myself on reality while finding its beauty, for there is always beauty. Excercise is a wonderful way to deal with depression. Go walking, running or biking or whatever you like. Alone

Alone is good, and with the children is good too. That way you get two for the price of one. You excercise for your own mental and physical health, and you teach and inspire good healthy habits on your kids. Good luck and blessings.
