And during the day its hard to do my everyday chores around the house because I feel like I have to wined myself up. And I just don't want to do anything. What can I do without having to see a DR. or taking a bunch of pills....I NEED TO BE HERE FOR MY FAMILY, I DON'T WANT PILLS TO MAKE ME HAPPY...PLEASE HELP ME In Depression Asked by Samy Nixon Age : 21 6 Answers

Yes i asked for advice not for 21 questions, i might be young but dont judge me by me being young and having 3 kids which is none of your concern. Dont write me just to patronize me, i asked for a friend, not for a mother which i have....Thank you |

I know too well the damage depression can do to a person. I have experienced depression for about two years. Depression came into my life because I lost my mother. Depression cause me to lose my home and become a tenant. I have defeated depression by turning my life over to Jesus. The end result for me was that I am free from depression and I did not not have to take pills! Please consider allowing Christ to help you. Hehelped me! i couldn't imagine having to deal with three small kids and having to keep up with housework and all at such a young age. have you talked to your husband and explained that you are feeling stressed. depression is something alot of people struggle with. i have a sister who is married and has a 3yr old daughter. she never gets a break from her. unless she is showering or my niece is taking a nap. she gets depressed alot too and doesn't want to take anyting for it. have you thought about maybe seeing someone for depression, but let them know you don't want to take anything for it. i took some meds for it a few years ago, i didn't like it. so stopped taking it. do you have family that can help you with the kids or cleaning? maybe that would help take away some stress and anxiety. Its been a year and a half since your question and I do hope you got help. A life coach is something evryone should have. When I did get help years back I accepted taking meds for a while and when I dedn't want the meds any more my shrink (or life couch) taught me skills to sort of check my own feelings and sort of "ground" myself on reality while finding its beauty, for there is always beauty. Excercise is a wonderful way to deal with depression. Go walking, running or biking or whatever you like. Alone Answered by Liza010665Age : 47 1 month ago Edit Delete

Alone is good, and with the children is good too. That way you get two for the price of one. You excercise for your own mental and physical health, and you teach and inspire good healthy habits on your kids. Good luck and blessings. |
