I was abused as a child and I spoke to my therapist about it and now she says that she has a duty of care to report it, what happens next if she does? I really want to know what happens once she has told the relevant people,it was 25 years ago, will they have to speak to the person who abused me? I don't even know where they are.I have never reported to the police or anyone. Response received to your question on wwuask email. If she does tell the authorities without your permission she is breaking the law and they can't file a report without you anyway.
