Nope not with these facts and I am a Family Law attorney who deal with food stamp fraud.

I would have to disagree. generally speaking, income and assets of the household are taken into consideration.

Your wife qualifies for assistance based on her and income/support not that of her grandmother. The real question is does her income/your support qualify her for assistance. The wealth of her grandmother is not a part of the equation..
