To be honest, no. But that isn't a sad thing believe it or not. It forces those of us who believe in logic and reason as opposed to God and religion to value their lives more. I see the beauty in humanity because I know it will all end one day for me and for them, so I see all the beauty that people do in their lives and try to do good in my own life to help leave a legacy of intelligent, well-reasoned individuals for decades to come. The Bible compares death to sleep. It speaks of âfalling asleep in death.â (Psalm 13:3) Prior to resurrecting his friend Lazarus, Jesus explained to his apostles: âLazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.â And Jesus did just that! The Bible says that when he called, âthe man [Lazarus] that had been dead came outâ from the âmemorial tombââfully alive once again!âJohn 11:11, 38-44. Great question. Personally I believe that while we may not be physically present after we have died, I don't believe that it's over. I think that we continue to exist in the universe waiting our turn to come back. Those who leave at an earlier age are first on line to return. We may not be aware of it but our past experiences play a part in who we are in the present and what we do in our current life. So as you approach death have no fear that you will be back and hopefully to create even a better world than the one you've left. Answered by kidsfor...Age : 40 1 month ago Edit Delete |
