My 2 yr old poddle mix ate some grass and started coughing and choking I rushed her to the vet and he checked her throat is clear but shes still choking and gagging what can I do?
The Dr. didn't give me any medicine she,s eating a little and drinking water but won't stop coughing.

Your dog probably irritated its throat from the initial incident. It sounds as if the coughing now is as a result of an irritation she is now experiencing. Watch it for a few days and if it doesn't stop then you need to call the vet. Answered by testerAge : 32 1 month ago Report Abuse Edit Delete
