No. Take it from me. I have always told bosses how I feel and it has not served me well. You would think that a "boss" would value a real opinion and not a "yes" man opinion, but it is not the case. The Yes man will always win out, unfortunately, because the boss tends to not want to hear the truth. He/She wants you to validate his lackluster ideas so that he or she can feel good about themselves.

Anything to the contrary tends to be viewed as "being negative" or "poor attitude." What is valued is staying in step with whatever they say.

Now, if you are planning on leaving anyway, them hit'em with your best shot. It will probably do him or her some good. It sure as hell will feel good for you.

Before you tell your boss how you feel, make sure that you check any spelling errors if you are using a written format. Weigh the potential responses and what the outcome might be by what you are going say. Like a carpenter measures twice and cuts once, you should think what you're going to say twice through your mind and say it with no regrets.
