What does dry skin look like on a penis? My husband has this red dry looking spot on the side of the head of his penis its not blistery or anything he doesn't have any stds what can we do and how sure can I be that is what it is? I think it probably was some form if irritation, and because penis skin is so sensitive, redness that follows irritation can last a long time. My advice would be to ignore the redness for another 4 weeks, and don't put anything on it at all, other than moisture lotion if you want. If it's still there, show a doctor then.
