Don't think of "making it" as one major event. Think of it as many small ones. Trying to find the big "made it" moment can lead to feeling unfulfilled. Every day we have opportunities to "make it". Doing something nice for someone. Making your child smile. Finishing a project. These are every day successes where you can know that you've "made it".
