We are so glad to hear you are considering BMCC to continue your education. BMCC offers an A.S. degree in Human Services, unfortunately it is not strictly on-line. Some of the required courses are available on-line, but not all. These courses will have to be taken on campus.

Below is a link to the Human Services curriculum along with a link to our on-line courses.

Also, here is the link for the schedule of classes. You may see courses that better fit your work schedule.

Hope this helps.

You can try clicking on academics or request a hand book from student services and admissions or just go to the college. I think you would enjoy the field of Human Services because it changes people into better human beings and it teaches you how to understand and help others. Consider speaking to Professor D.Greenwood at BMCC because she is one of the best scholars in that field. Please consider nights, evening and weekend classes.

The first course in the Human Services curriculum, HUM 101, is not offered online during the spring 2010 semester. I understand that you aren't able to come during the week because of your work hours, but I agree with Ganesha that the weekends may meet your needs. HUM 101 is offered on Saturday mornings this spring. BMCC is very busy on the weekends and offers all of the academic support services provided students during the week. e.g. library, academic advisement and tutoring. Many of the Human Services electives are also offered on Saturdays.
I also congratulate you on your decision to return to college. I hope that the weekend is an option you will consider.
