While getting a smog my radiator cracked and started leaking fluids.the smog guy said it was like that. it might of got cracked more while running the smog.Should he have to fix it or pay for it?

They drove my car on the street around to the building behind it (same business)to do the oil change. Then brought it to the smog only building were I was waiting.They started to run it and stopped.they opened the hood and saw the liquid misting spraying out and it leaking fast from the bottom of my car.They said it was already cracked it might of got worse cause when you drive it on the street the wind hits it to help keep it cooler and that while running the test it's like your car being at an incline and that could of cracked it more to.they also had a clamp on a hose buy the radiator wile running the test.they said several things wrong with it gave me a big price if i were to have them fix all the problems.didn't pass.Paid them and started to head home and noticed my car over heating.Are they in any way responsible to fix it?
