Why are their so few independent thinkers in the world. Why do folks buy into the bs that is constantly being thrown at the United States citizens.
It seems people have lost the fight in them. This country is going to pot. Our leaders do a good job keeping us separated by color,economics,religion etc. so that we do not fight the real enemies. I give up!!!!!! In Politics Asked by neecywa... Age : 59 2 Answers

Please don't give up. Independent thinkers vs. the herd is probably 20%/80% respectively. I agree with your observations. Maybe what is needed are some hard times to teach people a new (or maybe the old) work ethic. Something like: deliver more than promised or expected. Or earn a raise in pay rather than expect one. Many independent thinkers like to observe from the sidelines and often only mingle into the conversation when they think it is same. If they weren't independent thinkers then they would be a part of a minor or major group actively involved in the conversation. Don't give up.
