I think men cheat because:
1. Some men have a ‘player’ mentality’ that is being fortified by the friends they hang out with. If their friends have multiple women, then they must be like their friends in order to ‘fit’ in with the group.
2. Degrading hip-hop songs that are disrespectful to women feeds the cheating mentality.
3. Some women want men who have money, prestige and power. If attractive enough, these women can cause men to cheat.
4. Sometimes people change after the relationship has been sealed by agreement or marriage. By this, I mean, people stop doing the things they used to do.
5. Sometimes a nagging partner can compel men to seek other relationships.
6. Lack of intimacy in a matrimonial setting.
However, women cheat because:
1. Some women prefer ‘bad’ boys.
2. Women may feel that they are taken for granted, so a new lover will make them feel wanted and loved.
3. Revenge can be a factor the leads to cheating.
4. Women may want to boost their self-esteem.
5. They may want to rekindle the ‘fire’ they had when they were younger.
6. Some women are searching for ‘Sugar Daddy’.

Relationship and marriage between men and women has to be taken seriously and have an element of love and devotion.

I'm always around guy friends and believe r not they cheat most of the time for these reasons. 1. they dont want there friends to think that a FEMALE is taking control of the relationship. 2. girls be lying to damn much and they always gettin caught on some bs. 3. we women are pretty and have important beauty that man cant help...but importantly most men cheat because of there past relationship this plays a role on them even though most of the time they b actin like they dont care but they do. there had to b that one special in there life but one reason or another they ended up breaking up. lets not forgot that childhood also plays an important role

This is a very interesting question and I am glad that someone actually asked it. Why do men cheat on their women? I don't know because I've never been in a relationship before. In addition, there could be many different reasons for why men allow this to happen. My guess is that it's in their jeans, they could be jerks like that, and that they're not man at all. Another fare reason to answer this question would have to be, that those men don't know how to express their feelings. Man that cheat on their women are not man measure.

My two cents...

Usually, there is something missing in their current relationship. When they find this in someone else, it's hard to let go of it. So they cheat.

If you're with the same person for a while, it becomes monotonous, then someone new comes along and all of a sudden it's fun and exciting so they chase after that and cheat.

We as women, when we get comfortable in a relationship, we relax, we don't do the same things we used to do when we were dating. We let ourselves go a bit, we don't care as much. But remember, all the things u stopped doing for your man once you're in a relationship, someone else will gladly do it for him and guess what, he cheats.

By my own experience as a man, it is something that we cannot control, it just happens even when we are trying to prevent it. (of course we do nothing to prevent it)) I have not cheated my girlfriend yet and don't want to but I have had times when I have been exposed.

I guess once a man understand that he has developed the ability to control women's mind or his ability to flirt and convince in a very short time, he would lost control over it and would start to see women as a game and change them as often as he change his underwear.(this give us the feeling that we are in our better sexual life) However, I seldom have seen that men who practice this activity quit when they find a girl that completely make them crazy about her.

It is really knind of simple and this goes for any relationship:

Alot of times people enter relationships without being ready to fully commit themselves to the other person. At some point or another, there are indeed signs that you are attracted to other indidviduals and you brush it off or hide it from ur partner without knowing even knowing that eventually you will project obvious signs and end up getting caught. To answer ur question straight forward, basically one needs to conquer all temptations and desires they have in order to be in a relationship, if not, they will fall victim to these pleasures.
