Don't try so hard to find someone with similar interest as yourself. The best way to find someone with interest and goals similar to yours is while in college. Try to get involved with a variety of clubs and activities on campus. Your best opportunities are to be found in a college setting where there will be many people sharing your interest and goals. I met my wife in college and we share a lot in common.
