My married boyfriend left town without telling me.We are were in a relationship for 3 yrs and we were both trying to finalize our divorce.He left one day without telling me anything.We were both
legally separated and going through contentious and bitter divorces.I hear he is back with his wife.He saw me all the time and we would only kiss.We never had intercourse though because he said he did not want to hurt me. I posed the question if he was a carrier of an STD he said "why did I want to know". I assumed he had an STD and was embarrassed to tell me nonetheless I loved him so deeply. I was willing to risk my life.He was also a very very jealous person and wanted me to hurriedly finalize my divorce ,then he left .He said many a times he cared a lot about me and will never hurt me.So why would he just leave town without telling me.He said he was only in his marriage with his wife because he loved the sex with her! His jealousy and his carelessness of your feelings suggest that you're better off without him, no matter how much it will hurt for a while. You should feel betrayed and very lucky that he is out of your life. From what you describe he appears to be a very manipulative individual who could not be trusted. Stop trying to determine why he left, if he had STD or why he did and said the things that he said. Turn this page in your in your life over very quickly. This is very bad investment of your time and happiness. Try to focus on the things and people that make you happy without any strings attached.
