What Would You Ask? (wwuask) is the internet’s first User-Generated Self-help site, the creation of Dr. Tony Perez, a college president and trained counselor.
After conducting an informal study online where he asked students and faculty "what would you ask if life came with an answer sheet", Dr Perez was moved by the 500+ questions he received. The questions were often similar and profound.
He had struck a nerve and he knew it. He saw a real desire to harness the internet for "life's" answers in the questions he read. It was not the typical "how-to" questions you find on most answer sites, but real "life" questions in need of real "life" answers.
Dr Perez realized that in many of the questions people often felt that they were alone in experiencing a given "life" circumstance, but he knew that wasn't the case and that given the right venue that a treasure trove of wisdom would be released for all to benefit.
Dr. Perez set out to provide a site that would provide those with "life" questions an opportunity to ask and receive answers for them from each other. He envisioned a site whose mission, goal and focus would be “people helping people get through some of life's tougher questions."
